Anchored In Trust

Hi, My name is Jeremiah.😊

An opening statement for every article sometimes gets a bit tricky🤣, however here we go...

So in the days we are living, what are we anchored in? The covid 19 pandemic 😷 is stuck with us, and so many challenges we were battling with previously before the pandemic, are still with us.

When we look at jobs, which remains a big source of finances, are dwindling by the day. Those in jobs are also experiencing a heighten toxic level from their bosses and this makes the situation just unbearable.

Getting money, is a big hustle for majority of us, the loans we took are now unpaid and therefore with the interest rates increasing due to late payments, we would therefore be forced to pay more, if we get  enough finances anyway!!!😬

Things are thick, and I may never be able to fathom and write all your predicaments, in one sitting of an article.🤐 Life has been a juggle for families, and worse still lives of our closest people are being lost, due to the complications arising from covid.🤒

So again, what is your anchor?

In the context of this article, an anchor is "a person or thing that provides stability or confidence in an otherwise uncertain situation."

Therefore, what am saying essential, is what has made you stand in these difficult times???🤔

Okay, my turn.

I know, you have your own anchor mechanism, but mine has solely been God.🥰

So, last year december, i quit my Job, because i needed to fiqure out some things, and also some issues relating to mental health that were almost plunging me into a deep hole.

So when i quit, I had hoped things would work out, because I had learned some tips in manoeuvring the job market. But, alas, three months in 2021, nothing has been productive.

Now, am blaming myself, and overally going through a rough time, both financially and mentally. I was even forced to go back to the country side, shagz.

All this time, am anchored in TRUST!!💯

hoping for a change, because I have received numerous regret letters, until am almost losing it!!! The worse part am tormented by my choices.

Though the company i left was toxic, am sometimes convinced it was better than my current situation.

Am still anchored in trusting God, hoping he will change this.

Psalms 59:1 says "deliver me from my enemies, O my God; defend me from those who rise up against me."

I know He will be faithful to defend me.

Also Luke 10:19 reminds us of what God has enabled us to do, "Behold, i give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you"

So, my anchor is Trusting Him.

What are you anchored in?
